Crew Restaurant Group was established in Ankara in 2008, with a view to introduce new brands with different concepts to the food & beverage sector and create and put into practice a professional business structure with an innovative perspective.

Growing rapidly under the leadership of Kemal Selçuk Türköz, the Chairman of the Executive Board, Crew Group embodies the brands of Timboo Cafe, La Gioia Cafe & Brasserie, Marlinda Restaurant and Cafe and Zoie Brasserie & Lounge.

 
Professional cooks, pastry cooks and baristas are raised, particularly the qualified service personnel, at the R&D kitchens built in order to provide qualified personnel for the developed concepts and brands and to improve their service qualities. The Group unceasingly works and researches with the objective to improve all the brands within its body and develop new and unusual brands.

HEADQUARTERS

The headquarters established on an area of approximately 1,000 square-meters, consisting of Production and Research & Development Kitchens, Crew Academy and Administrative office spaces. All management activities, including finance, marketing, visual design, public relations, customer relations, social media and advertising, human resources, cost-control, central purchase, food safety etc., are executed from that headquarters.

 
Every staff member who will start working for the Group’s businesses is trained at Crew Academy to become well-equipped and prepared. Making great investments in human resources, the group’s entire kitchen and service personnel are primarily trained for Occupational Health and Safety, First Aid, Food Safety and Personal Hygiene. These trainings are followed by courses for customer satisfaction, service quality, sales techniques and other vocational trainings, regularly delivered by consultant training specialists.
 
Bakery products, cakes and desserts group products offered by Timboo Cafe branches, as well as meat and products are produced at the Production Kitchens with HACCP system, supervised by Food Engineers. All products undergo quality control stages precisely, starting from the purchasing stage, until they find a place in the menu.
 
Current and new concept brands are worked on and new menu items and products are tried at the R&D kitchens. Studies are also conducted at the R&D Kitchens, to make sure that products are exactly the same at all branches, by agreeing on every detail from the taste of the prepared dish to its plating and presentation.
